I don't do retrospectives. Since childhood, I've had difficulty remembering what's past (or at least, determining what's real). I remember the people I care about, and think about them as the year turns. And I have hopes for the next year, but I don't do resolutions.

To the people I love, and to those of you who have touched my life: I hope that next year brings you everything that you wish and nothing that you fear.
